U.a. wird am 11. April eine zeitweilige Ausstellung von alten Instrumenten und Buechern auf dem astronomischen Turm eroeffnet, wo einiges für die Renovierung des Fernrohres und alter Geraete investiert wurde.
On the 11th of April a temporary exhibit, which will focus on old instruments and books, will be opened in the Astronomical Tower, where much was invested for the renovation of the main telescope and other instruments.

The exhibition as well as the book illustrates a colorful diversity of European examples including a cooperative’s barrier-free renovation of an old school in Berlin, collalborative housing for the 50+ generation in Stockholm and passive architecture planned by and for immigrants in Brussels.

Upon the death of the donor, Dr. Annemarie Isermeyer, who is now 92 years old, the collection is to be moved to Leipzig where it will be made available for bibliographic, publishing and cultural history research and then made accessible to the general public in exhibitions.

Die Autorin der Ausstellung, eine bekannte kroatische Ethnologin Dr. Sc. Jelka Radau1 Ribariæ, hat in ihrer Dissertation (1964) und später auch in dem Buch « Die Frauentracht in Istrien» (Pazin, 1997) die Herkunft des Zwickels, der wichtig für den europäischen Kontinent außerhalb des mediterranen Kulturkreises,von der Vorgeschichte, in der Mittelbronzezeit und weiter durch die ältere und jüngere Eisenzeit, bearbeitet und festgestellt.
The author of this exhibition is the prominent Croatian ethnologist Dr. Jelka Radau┬╣ Ribari├Ž, who proposed in her Ph.D. dissertation (1964) and later in her book “Female National Costume in Istria” (Pazin, 1997) the theory on the origin of the wedge-shaped clothes on European continent outside of the Mediterranean cultural area.
