The customs agreement between the European Community and Hungary provides for vehicles from Hungary to be imported into the Community without import duty if they have a certificate of Hungarian origin, but on condition that non-originating parts (i.e. parts from countries other than Hungary or the European Union) account for no more than 40% of the value of the finished product.
