Our patient had a type 12A cone, which is occasionally seen in TRPSI and III and almost in all TRPSII.13 However, features in hands include triphalangeal thumb which can be associated with polydactyly, shortening of the metacarpals (especially 4th and 5th metacarpals), and shortening of the phalanges in patients with TRPS.14 Type 12A cones and shortening of the phalanges were seen in our patient.
