In its reply to Written Question E-0273/00(1) the Commission appears to be confusing two different phenomena: the existence of price differences resulting from administrative and/or macroeconomic policy measures, generally considered on the basis of the classic text The Purchasing Power of Money by Irving Fisher, and differences in market value for equal or similar goods and services arising from differences in supply and/or demand best summed up by John Maynard Keynes.
Vastauksessaan E-0273/00(1) komissio näyttää sekoittavan kaksi erilaista ilmiötä: hallinnollisista seikoista ja/tai makrotaloudesta johtuvat hintaerot, joita on käsitelty Irving Fisherin klassisesta The Purchasing Power of Money teoksesta alkaen ja toisaalta samanlaisten tai samankaltaisten tavaroiden ja palvelujen markkina-arvot, jotka johtuvat erilaisesta tarjonnan ja/tai kysynnän kehityksestä, josta parhaimman synteesin on mielestäni tehnyt John Maynard Keynes teoksessaan Kassandran ennustukset.EurLex-2 EurLex-2
