In the same way, schools of the ‘Harbor School’ (10) type could be set up in large European ports to teach children in primary — and possibly secondary — schools all the subjects by referring them to knowledge of the marine aquatic environment and boats, and the bases of navigation; this would be done on land, which is easier, but close to the sea.
Samalla periaatteella voitaisiin Euroopan suuriin satamiin perustaa ”Harbor schoolin” (10) tyyppisiä kouluja, jotka sijaitsisivat yksinkertaisuuden vuoksi kuivalla maalla, mutta meren läheisyydessä. Kouluissa opetettaisiin peruskoululaisille — ja mahdollisesti keskiasteen opiskelijoille — kaikkia normaaleita oppiaineita meriympäristön ja merenkulun tuntemuksen näkökulmasta ja perehdyttäisiin navigoinnin perusteisiin.EurLex-2 EurLex-2
