The 1st International Colloquium on the Sociology of Energy, hosted by CERTOP-CNRS in partnership with AISLF Research Committees 16, 23 and 32, and the RT1 of the French Association of Sociology, will be held on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2012 at the University of Toulouse II-le Mirail in France.

The field of sociology of art and culture has internationally grown considerably in the last thirty years with the creation of research committees within the ISA, the ESA and the AISLF, as well as the renewed dynamism of the relevant sections within national sociology associations in Germany (Arbeitskreis Soziologie der Künste) and Austria .
La sociologie des arts et de la culture est un champ de recherche qui s’est beaucoup développé, ces trente dernières années, au niveau international, avec la constitution, notamment, de comités de recherche au sein de l’ISA, de l’ESA et de l’AISLF ou encore le dynamisme mis au jour par les sections concernées des associations nationales de sociologie en Allemagne (Arbeitskreis Soziologie der Künste de la DGS) ou en Autriche.
