Aesculapian snake (Zamenis longissimus) is native to most European countries with mediterreanean and continental climates, including French, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria.
