Strength will come because of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.19 Healing and forgiveness will come because of God’s grace.20 Wisdom and patience will come by trusting in the Lord’s timing for us.
According to one scholar, the Pharisees taught that one should neither trust these with valuables, nor trust their testimony, nor entertain them as guests, nor be their guests, nor even buy from them.
How fine if we can be like Job and make Jehovah’s heart glad by trusting in Him, and not place any undue importance on ourselves or on the material things that are available!
