The present invention is a composition for forming a solar cell electrode, comprising: silver powder; a glass frit; and an organic vehicle, wherein the glass frit has a glass transition temperature in the range of approximately 100°C to 300°C and an initiation temperature of the glass frit, at which an exothermic peak is shown on a DTA curve, is in the range of approximately 200°C to 400°C during thermogravimetric-differential terminal analysis (TG-DTA).
