I studied the Language in the class at Saltash College in the 90s with Gary Angove and Wella Brown and I passed the Cornish Language Board’s fourth-grade exam, with a distinction, (excuse me blowing my own trumpet a bit!) in 2001 after studying Cornish Language for five years. I continued at the Saltash class, becoming a teacher in the same class I’d been learning in. In 2003, after the class at St. Austell College folded, a few people asked me to start a class for the St. Austell area, which I did.
