Eight structures now stand within the Society’s 4.6-acre (1.9-ha) compound, which is landscaped with banana, mango, fig, and papaya trees, along with many flowering plants and shrubs.
Among regulating foods are green leafy vegetables, yellow vegetables like calabasa (squash) and carrots, as well as such fruits as mango, guava, melon, papaya and banana.
Its deeply lobed leaves remind you of fig or maple leaves, although those of the papaya sometimes measure 60 centimeters (2 feet) across and are borne on hollow stalks.
