For example, it is unclear whether or not Law No. 471/88 prevents all doctors who practise stomatology from working as dental practitioners if they are included in the register of doctors, as is the case in France.
Het is met name niet duidelijk of de Italiaanse wet 471/88 nu wel of niet verhindert dat alle artsen die het beroep odontostomatologie uitoefenen, het beroep van tandheelkundige alleen kunnen uitoefenen wanneer zij in het register van artsen vermeld staan, zoals in Frankrijk gebeurt.

Does it not also consider that reopening of the school of medical specialization in stomatology pursuant to 'doctors' directive 93/16 is the most correct way from the point of view of Community law of resolving the situation in Italy which has degenerated because of the simultaneous effects of DM 30/10/93 and judgment C 40/93 of 1.6.1995?

The titles of ‘chirurgie maxillo-faciale et stomatologie’ (maxillo-facial surgery and stomatology) and ‘stomatologie’ (stomatology) as courses in specialised medicine, are, however, referred to by that annex in relation to that Member State.
In die bijlage worden voor deze lidstaat wel de gespecialiseerde medische opleidingen „chirurgie maxillo-faciale” en „stomatologie” vermeld.

Furthermore, that training corresponds exactly to the specialised Italian diploma in stomatology referred to in Article 7 of Council Directive 93/16/EEC of 5 April 1993 to facilitate the free movement of doctors and the mutual recognition of their diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications.
