They ask you what they should spend ( in the way of Allah ) . Say : Whatever wealth you spend ( is right ) , but the deserving ones are your parents , and near relatives , and orphans , and the needy and the wayfarers . And whatever good you do , Allah indeed knows it full well .

And bear in mind that whatever spoils of war you seize , a fifth of it is for Allah and the Messenger ( blessings and peace be upon him ) and ( the Messengers ) kindred and orphans and the needy and the wayfarers if you believe in Allah , and in that ( Revelation ) which We sent down on Our ( exalted ) Servant on the Day of Decision ( discrimination between the truth and falsehood ) , the day ( when ) the two armies ( of the believers and the disbelievers ) encountered ( in the battlefield of Badr ) . And Allah has Absolute Power over everything .

So keep giving to the close relative his due and to the needy and the wayfarers ( their due ) . That is best for those who seek the pleasure of Allah and it is they who will achieve the goal .
ان سرغنوں نے کہا : تم آپس میں اللہ کی قسم کھا کر عہد کرو کہ ہم ضرور رات کو صالح علیہ السلام اور اس کے گھر والوں پر قاتلانہ حملہ کریں گے پھر ان کے وارثوں سے کہہ دیں گے کہ ہم ان کی ہلاکت کے موقع پر حاضر ہی نہ تھے اور بیشک ہم سچے ہیں ۔UMC005 UMC005
And worship Allah and do not set up any partners with Him . And treat the parents with moral excellence and ( do good to ) relatives , orphans , the needy , close as well as unacquainted neighbours , and your fellows and the wayfarers and those whom you possess . Surely Allah does not like the one who is arrogant ( self - conceited ) and boastful ( egoist ) .
جنلوگوں نے اپنے رب سے کفر کیا ہے ، ان کی مثال یہ ہے کہ ان کے اعمال اس راکھ کی مانند ہیں جس پر تیز آندھی کے دن سخت ہوا کا جھونکا آگیا ، وہ ان اعمال میں سے جو انہوں نے کمائے تھے کسی چیز پر قابو نہیں پاسکیں گے ۔ یہی بہت دور کی گمراہی ہے ۔UMC005 UMC005
Driven by love for Allah , he spends ( his ) wealth on the kindred , orphans , the needy , the wayfarers , and those who ask and in ( liberating slaves ) necks ; and establishes Prayer and pays Zakat ( the Alms - due ) .
اور یہ کہ ہم نہیں جانتے کہ ہماری بندش سے ان لوگوں کے حق میں جو زمین میں ہیں کسی برائی کا ارادہ کیا گیا ہے یا ان کے رب نے ان کے ساتھ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرمایا ہے ۔UMC005 UMC005
And whatever ( materials of fai spoils ) Allah restored to His Messenger ( [ blessings and peace be upon him ] taking out ) from the people of ( the towns captured without war in addition to those of Quraiza , Nadir , Fadak , Khaibar and Uraina ) belong to Allah and His Messenger [ blessings and peace be upon him ] and ( the Messengers ) near relatives ( i . e . Banu Hashim and Banu Abd al - Muttalib ) and the orphans , the needy and the wayfarer ( of society at large . This distribution system is to ensure ) that ( the whole wealth ) may not circulate ( only ) among the rich of you ( but should circulate among all the classes of society ) . And whatever the Messenger ( blessings and peace be upon him ) awards you , take that and whatever he forbids you , abstain ( from that ) and keep fearing Allah ( i . e . never scoff at the Messengers distribution and award ) . Surely Allah is Severe to punish .
اور کیا آپ کے پاس جھگڑنے والوں کی خبر پہنچی ؟ جب وہ دیوار پھاند کر داؤد علیہ السلام کی عبادت گاہ میں داخل ہو گئے ۔UMC005 UMC005
Indeed alms ( Zakat ) are meant for the poor and the indigent , and those who are deployed to collect charities and those in whose hearts the inculcation of love for Islam is aimed at . And , ( moreover , spending Zakat for ) freeing of human lives ( from the yoke of slavery ) and removing the burden of those who are to pay debt and ( those who toil hard ) in the cause of Allah and the wayfarers ( is true ) . This ( all ) has been prescribed by Allah and Allah is All - Knowing , Most Wise .
پس آپ کے رب کی قسم ہم ان کو اور جملہ شیطانوں کو قیامت کے دن ضرور جمع کریں گے پھر ہم ان سب کو جہنم کے گرد ضرور حاضر کر دیں گے اس طرح کہ وہ گھٹنوں کے بل گرے پڑے ہوں گے ۔UMC005 UMC005
And give to the kindred their rightful due and also ( give ) to the needy and the wayfarer and do not exhaust ( your wealth ) by expending wastefully .
پھر وہ یسوع کو سردار کاہن کے پاس لے گئے اور سب سردار کاہن اور بزرگ اور فقیہ اس کے ہاں جمع ہوگئے ۔UMC005 UMC005
