The United Nations/United Arab Emirates Symposium on Basic Space Technology, the second in a series of symposiums under the Basic Space Technology Initiative to be held in the regions that correspond to the Economic Commissions for Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Western Asia, will be followed by a symposium organized in cooperation with the Government of Mexico on the theme “Making space technology accessible and affordable”, hosted by the Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education at Ensenada and to be held in Baja California, Mexico, during the week of 20-24 October 2014.
