Ezen átdolgozott szövegjavaslat célja az Európai Üzemi Tanács létrehozásáról vagy a közösségi szintű vállalkozások és vállalkozáscsoportok munkavállalóinak tájékoztatását és a velük folytatott konzultációt szolgáló eljárás kialakításáról szóló, 1994. szeptember 22-i 94/45/EK tanácsi irányelv[1] módosítása, melyet az 1997. december 15-i 97/74/EK tanácsi irányelv[2] kiterjesztett az Egyesült Királyságra és melyet a 2006. november 20-i 2006/109/EK tanácsi irányelv[3] kiigazított, tekintettel Bulgária és Románia csatlakozására.
This proposal for recasting is intended to amend Council Directive 94/45/EC of 22 September 1994 on the establishment of a European Works Council or a procedure in Community-scale undertakings and Community-scale groups of undertakings for the purposes of informing and consulting employees[1], as extended to the United Kingdom by Council Directive 97/74/EC of 15 December 1997[2] and adapted by Council Directive 2006/109/EC of 20 November 2006 by reason of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania[3].
