He shines with the career of having won such several international competitions as German Music Competition, Salzburg Mozarteum Academy International Competition, etc.

1996년 내한했던 베를린 도이체 심포니의 첼로 수석으로 처음 한국에 왔었고, 지난해 11월에는 조계사에서 열린 작곡가 윤이상 타계 10주기 추모 음악회에 참여한 바 있다.

Isan Yun's Cello Concerto CD with German Symphony Orchestra was produced in the fall of 2003. He played Isang Yun's cello works at the concerts in memory of Isang Yun's 10th Anniversairy in PyeongYang, Beijing and Seoul, which made him become known to the Korean public as well as music lovers by being reported several times on mass media.
