Tegelijkertijd onderkent deze verordening de risico’s van grotere verwevenheid en buitensporige hefboomwerking die securitisatie met zich brengt, en versterkt zij het microprudentiële toezicht door bevoegde autoriteiten op de deelname van een financiële instelling op de securitisatiemarkt, alsmede het macroprudentiële toezicht op die markt door het Europees Comité voor systeemrisico’s (European Systemic Risk Board — „ESRB”) dat is opgericht bij Verordening (EU) nr. 1092/2010 van het Europees Parlement en de Raad (4) en door de nationale bevoegde en aangewezen autoriteiten voor macroprudentiële instrumenten.
Nevertheless, this Regulation recognises the risks of increased interconnectedness and of excessive leverage that securitisation raises, and enhances the microprudential supervision by competent authorities of a financial institution’s participation in the securitisation market, as well as the macroprudential oversight of that market by the European Systemic Risk Board (ESRB), established by Regulation (EU) No 1092/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council (4), and by the national competent and designated authorities for macroprudential instruments.eurlex-diff-2018-06-20 eurlex-diff-2018-06-20
