Geographical investigation series The geographical investigation series (Balázs Nagy and his colleagues, 7 ELTE TTK Geographical Department, Budapest) examined the sedimentological and morphological history of Tételhegy (or Tétel-halom). It included the determination and dating of the layer sequence of the hill and the constituents of the layers, the relief history of its environment with special attention to the changes of the relief and the hydrographic and hydrologic features and the analysis of the soils in the mirror of soil formation on the surface modified by anthropogenic activities. The main result was a new aspect of the evolution of the remnant hill.

Természetföldrajzi vizsgálatsorozat A természetföldrajzi vizsgálatsorozat (Nagy Balázs és munkatársai, 7 ELTE TTK Természetföldrajzi Tanszék, Budapest) a Tételhegy (másként: Tétel-halom) üledékföldtani és morfológiai fejlôdéstörténetét tûzte ki maga elé: a halom rétegsorának, felépítô anyagainak részletes meghatározását és datálását; a halom környezetének felszínfejlôdését, különös tekintettel a domborzati és hidrográfiai-hidrológiai sajátosságok változására; valamint a talajtakaró elemzését az antropogén módon átalakított felszín talajosodásának tükrében. Legfontosabb eredményük a tanúhegy kialakulási folyamatának új megvilágításba helyezése lett.
