والوكالة البرازيلية - الأرجنتينية مسؤولة عن إدارة وتطبيق النظام المشترك للمساءلة عن المواد النووية ومراقبتها في البرازيل والأرجنتين، بغية ضمان عدم صرف هذه المواد عن غرضها الأصلي واستعمالها على نحو غير ملائم أو غير مأذون به، تمشيا مع مقاصد الاتفاق الثنائي الذي تم به إنشاء الوكالة.

ABACC is responsible for the administration and application of the Common System of Accounting and Control of all nuclear materials in Brazil and Argentina, with a view to ensuring that no material is diverted or used in an inappropriate or unauthorized manner, in conformity with the purposes of the bilateral Agreement that created the Agency.
