A parere del sottoscritto, gli Shape Of Despair sono una delle cose più belle uscite dal panorama musicale finlandese e in generale dalla corrente del Funeral Doom di stampo atmosferico, e "Angels Of Distress" una delle più empatiche espressioni di angoscia: un vero e proprio monumento alla fragilità dell'animo umano, il quale rimane prostrato e inerme di fronte al dolore.
