ولتعزيز حماية الصحفيين، شدد على ضرورة تدريب الإعلاميين على إجراءات السلامة والإسعافات الأولية بغية إعدادهم لمواجهة المخاطر التي تنطوي عليها مناطق الحروب، وتعليمهم حسن التصرف في مواجهة الخطر وكيفية التعامل مع آثار صدمات الأحداث المفجعة.

To enhance their protection, the panellist underscored the need for media staff to receive safety and first aid training, so that they would be prepared to confront the risks inherent in war zones, and so that they could learn how to behave appropriately in the face of danger, and how to deal with the effects of traumatic events.

El ponente subrayó que, para mejorar la protección de los periodistas, era necesario que el personal de los medios de comunicación recibiera formación en materia de seguridad y primeros auxilios, con objeto de que estuvieran preparados para hacer frente a los riesgos inherentes a la permanencia en zonas de guerra, y aprendiera a comportarse de manera apropiada en momentos de peligro y a asimilar los efectos de acontecimientos traumáticos.

L’intervenant a souligné que pour renforcer la protection des professionnels des médias il fallait les former aux mesures de sécurité et aux premiers secours, afin de les préparer à une exposition aux risques inhérents aux zones de guerre et leur apprendre comment réagir de manière appropriée en cas de danger ainsi qu’à faire face aux effets d’événements traumatisants.

Для усиления защиты журналистов необходимо наладить подготовку сотрудников СМИ по вопросам безопасности и оказания первой помощи, с тем чтобы они были готовы к риску, связанному с нахождением в зонах боевых действий, правильно вели себя перед лицом опасности и умели справляться с посттравматическим синдромом.
