For AKWID, the year 2004 has represented the consolidation of an unmatched success, ranging from the accreditation of Latin Platinum Album status for their follow up album �KOMP 104.9 Radio Compa�, which sold more than 200,000 units in less than a month, and sales in excess of 400,000 units to date of their debut album �Proyecto Akwid�, which garnered them a Latin Gold and Latin Platinum Album certification, to a 2004 Latin Billboard Award for Regional Mexican Album of The Year, New Artist.
