وقد صدر تقرير عن الزلزال الذي ضرب هايتي، جاء فيه أن أنباء التسونامي وردت في الوقت المناسب إلى معظم البلدان التي أجابت عن الاستقصاءات، لكن لوحظ في التقرير أن مستوى سطح البحر لم يراقب إلا نادرا خلال هذا الحدث، وأن بعض المراكز الوطنية للإنذار بالتسونامي لم تعرف كيفية الوصول إلى البيانات المتعلقة بمستوى سطح البحر من خلال النظام العالمي للاتصالات السلكية واللاسلكية أو من خلال الموقع الشبكي لمرفق رصد مستوى سطح البحر التابع للجنة الأوقيانوغرافية الحكومية الدولية.

The report for the Haiti earthquake has been issued, stating that tsunami bulletins were received in a timely manner by most of the countries that answered the survey, but observing that sea level was scarcely monitored during the event, and that some national tsunami warning centres did not know how to access sea level data over the global telecommunication system or over the IOC sea level observation facility website.

Se ha publicado el informe sobre el terremoto de Haití, en el que se afirma que la mayoría de los países que respondieron a la encuesta habían recibido los partes de aviso de la llegada del tsunami a su debido tiempo, pero puntualizaron que apenas se había vigilado el nivel del mar durante el desastre y que algunos centros nacionales de alerta ante los tsunamis no sabían cómo consultar los datos sobre el nivel del mar del sistema mundial de telecomunicaciones ni los del sitio web del servicio de observación del nivel del mar de la Comisión Oceanográfica Intergubernamental.

Le rapport concernant le séisme en Haïti a été publié; il en ressort que les informations relatives au tsunami ont été reçues à temps par la plupart des pays qui ont répondu au questionnaire, mais que la surveillance du niveau de la mer pendant la catastrophe a été des plus limitée, certains centres d’alerte nationaux ignorant comment accéder aux données relatives au niveau de la mer par le biais du système mondial de télécommunication ou du site Web du centre d’observation de la COI.

В докладе, посвященном землетрясению на Гаити, было указано, что бюллетени о цунами были получены своевременно большинством стран, ответивших на вопросники, однако при этом отмечалось, что уровень моря во время этого события почти не контролировался и некоторые национальные центры оповещения о цунами не знали, как получить доступ к данным об уровне моря через глобальную систему связи или веб-сайт МОК, посвященный наблюдениям за уровнем моря.
