The method comprising heating the used material to a temperature between 220 and 240 °C to form soluble anhydrite. Quenching the anhydrite and retaining in an aqueous solution until dihydrate is formed.

Ce procédé consiste: à chauffer ce gypse brut à une température variant entre 220 et 240 °C afin de former une anhydrite soluble; à faire refroidir cette anhydrite; et à retenir cette dernière dans une solution aqueuse jusqu'à la formation d'un dihydrate.
