The increased requirements were attributable primarily to: (a) the actual composition and deployment of the fleet of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft given the operational needs of the Mission, resulting in higher guaranteed fleet costs for the aircraft, compared with the fleet configuration and number of aircraft budgeted; and (b) support from the fleet of other Missions during the elections in the Central African Republic.
