It must be considered that there are other tick species in Europe (e.g. Dermacentor marginatus, Dermacentor pictus, Haemaphysalis spp, Hyalomma spp, Rhipicephalus bursa, etc.) and also in the USA that can infect dogs in addition to the ones controlled by this product. It is not known whether NEXGARD controls such tick species as well.

Hay que considerar que hay otras especies de garrapatas que se dan en Europa (no digamos en América Latina) y que atacan a los perros, además de las que controla este producto (p.ej. Dermacentor marginatus, Dermacentor pictus, Haemaphysalis spp, Hyalomma spp, Rhipicephalus bursa, etc.) y no se sabe si NEXGARD controla también dichas especies o no.
