The traditional language-specific informational meetings were held (and continued to be under-attended), and information was provided regarding the implementation of “green” goals (e.g., ISO 14001 certification, electronic distribution of documents), the establishment of “mobile office” facilities, succession planning, outreach and training, progress in terms of the major information technology projects of the Department (integrated conference management system (iCMS)) and the ongoing re-evaluation of the system of competitive language examinations.
