أن المشرّع البحريني قد اعتد بحق الدم من جهة الأب، ويكرس هذا الموقف فقهاء القانون الدولي الخاص، باعتبار أن المعيار المذكور يشكل قرينة على التأكد من الشعور والانتماء القومي والصلة الروحية التي تربط الشخص بالأمة التي ينتمي إليها آباؤه.

The Bahraini legislature recognises right of blood on the father’s side, a position upheld by experts in private international law on the grounds that the said criterion constitutes a presumption of the affirmation of a feeling of national belonging and of the spiritual bond linking a person to the nation to which his forefathers belonged.
