c) Epíclesis: con la cual la Iglesia, por medio de invocaciones especiales, implora la fuerza del Espíritu Santo para que los dones ofrecidos por los hombres sean consagrados, es decir, se conviertan en el Cuerpo y en la Sangre de Cristo, y para que la víctima inmaculada que se va a recibir en la Comunión sirva para la salvación de quienes van a participar en ella.
