By means of structuring EBG elements provided as a row (edge row) of one of the edges of the planar EBG structure in manner so as to be severed at a position that is smaller than the width of the EBG element, it is possible to raise the radio-wave propagation suppression effect of the planar EBG structure in a low number of rows.
