One of the many successes of the telethon was the large participation of a group of 15 well-known figures in Chile (led by former captain of the Chilean national football team Iván Zamorano), who spent most of a day receiving donation phone calls from branches of Banco de Chile and from around the world, and during that period were very lively, singing, jumping, and encouraging all Chileans to join in.

Uno de los muchos aciertos que tuvo dicha Teletón fue la participación de un grupo de 15 figuras conocidas en Chile, liderados por el excapitán de la selección chilena de fútbol Iván Zamorano, quienes estuvieron durante las 23 horas que la transmisión es hecha desde el Teatro Teletón, recibiendo las llamadas telefónicas de todas las sucursales del Banco de Chile y de distintos lugares del mundo.
