• Xstrata has been selected as the winning bidder by the Government of Peru for the Las Bambas project. Las Bambas comprises four known deposits with proven reserves of 40.5 Mt grading around 2% copper and an indicated resource of 500 Mt containing copper grades of over 1% plus gold.
