Στο βόρειο τοίχο του εσωτερικού νάρθηκα είναι γραμμένο το χρυσόβουλο του αυτοκράτορα Ανδρόνικου Παλαιολόγου Γ ́ σύμφωνα με το οποίο, το 1336, καθορίζονται τα όρια της Επισκοπής Σταγών καθώς και το διάταγμα του Πατριάρχη Αντωνίου Δ ́ το οποίο, το 1393 ανανεώνει τα προνόμια που είχαν παραχωρηθεί στην Επισκοπή από προηγούμενους αυτοκράτορες.

In the northern wall of the inner narthex there is written the “bull” of the emperor Andronikos Palaiologos C’ according to which, in 1336, the borders of the Bishopric of Stagi are determined, as well as the edict of Patriarch Antonios D’ which, in 1393, renews the privileges that had been granted to the Bishopric by previous emperors of Byzantium.
