(Alcorão 2:285) A crença no decreto divino fortalece a crença em Deus. A pessoa compreende que apenas Deus controla tudo e, dessa forma, ela confia e se apóia Nele. Mesmo quando a pessoa faz o seu melhor, ao mesmo tempo ela se apóia em Deus para o resultado final. O seu trabalho duro ou inteligência não a fazem arrogante, porque Deus é a fonte de tudo que acontece. Finalmente, a pessoa alcança paz mental na compreensão de que Deus é Sábio e Suas Ações são ditadas pela sabedoria. As coisas não acontecem sem um propósito. Se consegue algo, ela compreende que isso nunca teria lhe escapado. Se não consegue, compreende que não era para ter acontecido. Um homem alcança paz interior, confortado internamente com essa compreensão.
