(�) عدد سنوات الدراسة المرتقبة هو مجموع عدد السنوات التي يتوقع لطفل ما في سن معينة قضاؤها في التعليم مستقبلا، على افتراض أن احتمالات التحاقه بالتعليم في سن ما تعادل نسبة الالتحاق الراهنة بالنسبة لتلك السن (انظر UNESCO Institute of Statistics, Education Indicators, Technical Guidelines, November 2009).
