On 07.08.2015, the Hon'ble Chief Minister presented a Memorandum to the Prime Minister, reiterating the request of Tamil Nadu to advise the Government of Karnataka not to proceed with the project without the concurrence of Tamil Nadu and also not to grant techno-economic clearance and environmental clearance to the project, till the CMB is formed and becomes functional.
