Bellocq (Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS) (spoke in Spanish): On behalf of the Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS, we wish to thank the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) for having promoted and defended, together with a number of Member States, the participation of civil society and of people living with HIV/AIDS through the various phases of work necessary to achieve the declaration of commitment.

Bellocq (Red Mundial de personas afectadas por el VIH/SIDA): Por su intermedio y en nombre de la Red Mundial de personas afectadas por el VIH/SIDA, queremos expresar nuestro agradecimiento al Secretario General de las Naciones Unidas y al Programa conjunto de las Naciones Unidas sobre el VIH/SIDA (ONUSIDA) por haber promovido y defendido junto a algunos países Miembros la participación de la sociedad civil y de las personas que viven con el VIH/SIDA en los diferentes momentos que fueron necesarios para llegar a esta declaración.
