The Ministry of Health, through the State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate and the State Health Institute, participates in the monitoring of environment pollution, respectively the monitoring of air, water and food products pollution, monitoring and protection of the population against the harmful impact of gasses, ionising radiation and noise, and supervision of the hygienic and epidemiological condition of the population.

Le premier, par l’intermédiaire de l’Inspection nationale de l’hygiène et de la santé et de l’Institut national de la santé, participe à la surveillance de la pollution de l’environnement, notamment de l’air, de l’eau et des produits alimentaires, à la surveillance et à la protection de la population contre l’effet nocif des gaz, rayonnements ionisants et bruits et au contrôle de la situation hygiénique et épidémiologique de la population.
