تجدر الإشارة إلى أن لبنان التزم بالتعاون مع الاتحاد الأوروبي في مكافحة الإرهاب وذلك بمناسبة توقيعـــــــه على اتفاقيــــــة الشراكــــــة بينه وبين الاتحاد في لكسمبرغ بتاريخ 17 حزيران/يونيه 2002.
