Stage one of the project (Shah Deniz 1) targeted approximately one third of the total potential resources of the Shah Deniz field and included the following main components: an offshore drilling and production platform; two export pipelines, one for gas and one for fluids; and an extension of the processing facilities at the Sangachal terminal.
