In 2011, the Spanish Administrator of Railway Infrastructures (ADIF) awarded a contract to the Alstom-led consortium to build and maintain for a period of 20 years the signalling and telecommunications systems for the high speed line Albacete-Alicante (165 km of double track).This is the first contract to supply HS equipment awarded by Adif in PPP (Public Private Partnership) scheme.In this projet, Alstom will undertake the global coordination of the project, the system architecture and the supply, installation and maintenance of the signalling system and ERTMS.

El Administrador español de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias (ADIF) adjudicó en 2011 a un consorcio encabezado por Alstom un contrato para construir y mantener, durante un periodo de 20 años, los sistemas de señalización y telecomunicaciones de última generación para la línea de alta velocidad Albacete-Alicante. (165 km de doble vía). El contrato incluye la implantación de la tecnología de última generación (ERTMS nivel 2) y la ejecución de las propias obras, así como su financiación parcial a través de un proyecto de Colaboración Publico Privada (CPP).
