Birds in Europe: their and problems of cliff raptors and choughs in Sierra Salvada In 1997, 1998 and 2001 we censused breeding populations of several cliff bird species at Sierra Salvada (Álava and Bizkaia): there were 2-3 pairs for Egyptian Vulture, 68-78 for Griffon Vulture, 0-1 for Golden Eagle, 4-6 for Peregrine Falcon, none for Eagle Owl, 44-71 for Alpine Chough and 281-392 for Red-billed Chough.
