The present invention provides a lithium iron phosphate with an olivine crystal structure, and specifically an olivine-type lithium iron phosphate wherein the lithium iron phosphate has a composition represented by the following Formula 1, sulfur compounds with a sulfide bond are included as impurities on the lithium iron phosphate particle, and the particle surface is coated with carbon (C).
