Das LACOMECO-Projekt soll Forschungsinstituten aus EU-Mitgliedstaaten (außer Deutschland) und assoziierten Staaten den Zugang zu vier Versuchseinrichtungen ermöglichen: QUENCH (Large-scale experiments on the investigation of the quench behaviour of the fuel rod simulator), LIVE (Large-scale experiments on melt behaviour in the RPV lower head), DISCO-H (Dispersion of corium and direct containment heating experiments at low pressure) und HYKA (Large-scale tests on hydrogen behaviour and mitigation).

The objective of the LACOMECO project is to provide research institutions from EU Member States (except Germany) and Associated States with access to four experimental facilities: QUENCH ('Large-scale experiments on the investigation of the quench behaviour of the fuel rod simulator'), LIVE ('Large-scale experiments on melt behaviour in the RPV lower head'), DISCO-H ('Dispersion of corium and direct containment heating experiments at low pressure') and HYKA ('Large-scale tests on hydrogen behaviour and mitigation').

El objetivo del proyecto LACOMECO es brindar a instituciones de los Estados miembros de la UE (excepto Alemania) y Estados asociados acceso a cuatro instalaciones experimentales: QUENCH («Experimentos a gran escala para investigación del comportamiento de enfriamiento de los simuladores de las varillas combustibles»), LIVE («Experimentos a gran escala sobre el comportamiento de fusión en el fondo inferior de la vasija a presión del reactor»), DISCO-H («Experimentos de calentamiento para contención directa y dispersión del corio a baja presión») e HYKA («Pruebas a gran escala del comportamiento del hidrógeno y mitigación»).

L'objectif du projet LACOMECO est de donner accès aux instituts de recherche des États membres de l'UE (à l'exception de l'Allemagne) et aux pays associés à quatre installations expérimentales: QUENCH («Large-scale experiments on the investigation of the quench behaviour of the fuel rod simulator»), LIVE («Large-scale experiments on melt behaviour in the RPV lower head»), DISCO-H («Dispersion of corium and direct containment heating experiments at low pressure») et HYKA («Large-scale tests on hydrogen behaviour and mitigation»).

Celem projektu LACOMECO jest zapewnienie instytucjom badawczym z państw członkowskich UE (poza Niemcami) i krajów stowarzyszonych dostępu do czterech obiektów doświadczalnych: QUENCH (Wielkoskalowe eksperymenty w zakresie badania zachowania schładzającego symulatora pręta paliwowego), LIVE (Wielkoskalowe eksperymenty w zakresie zachowania produktów rozszczepienia w dolnej głowicy RPV), DISCO-H (Dyspersja korium i eksperymenty bezpośredniego zabezpieczenia przy nagrzewaniu w niskim ciśnieniu) oraz HYKA (Wielkoskalowe testy zachowania i opanowania wodoru).
