وفي حين تتفهم اللجنة الاستشارية أن تناوب الضباط المعارين قد يكون له بعض الأثر على عمل مكتب الشؤون العسكرية، فإنها غير مقتنعة بضرورة إعادة تصنيف وظائف الضباط المعارين إلى وظائف مدنية على أساس المبررات التي قدمها الأمين العام.

While the Advisory Committee understands that the rotations of seconded officers may have certain impact on the operation of the Office of Military Affairs, it is not convinced of the need to reclassify seconded officer posts to civilian posts on the basis of the justifications provided by the Secretary-General.
