A method for segmenting motion in a moving picture using randomized voting comprises the steps of: receiving a moving picture; extracting a plurality of feature points from the moving picture; and grouping the plurality of feature points by applying a randomized voting technique which uses a score histogram for each of at least some feature points of the randomly grouped plurality of feature points.

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à segmenter le mouvement dans une image mouvante en utilisant un vote aléatoirement réparti et comportant les étapes consistant à: recevoir une image mouvante; extraire une pluralité de points caractéristiques de l'image mouvante; et regrouper la pluralité de points caractéristiques en appliquant une technique de vote aléatoirement réparti qui utilise un histogramme de scores pour chaque point parmi au moins certains points caractéristiques de la pluralité de points caractéristiques regroupés aléatoirement.
