তাঁর গান শচীন দেববর্মণ, আববাসউদ্দীন প্রমুখ প্রখ্যাত শিল্পীর কণ্ঠে রেকর্ড হয়েছে। পরবর্তীকালে আবদুল আলীম, আবদুল লতিফ, বেদারউদ্দিন আহমদ, ফেরদৌসী রহমান, নীনা হামিদ, ফওজিয়া খানসহ বহু কণ্ঠশিল্পী তাঁর রচিত ও সুরারোপিত গান পরিবেশন করে খ্যাতি অর্জন করেন।

He also composed the tunes of many songs, several of which were recorded by eminent artistes such as sachin dev burman and Abbasuddin before Partition and abdul alim, Abdul Latif, bedaruddin ahmad, Ferdousi Rahman, Neena Hamid, and Fauzia Khan subsequently.
