ب) وتبيان ما إذا كان المرفق على استعداد للدخول في الترتيبات المشار إليها في الفقرة # (أ) أعلاه، والمشاركة في المفاوضات الهادفة إلى تنقيح مذكرة التفاهم الحالية بين مرفق البيئة العالمية ومؤتمر الأطراف لتغطية تشغيل هذا الصندوق، بهدف قبولها من جانب مؤتمر الأطراف في دورته التاسعة؛

To report to the Conference of the Parties at its eighth session on its readiness to establish the above-mentioned adaptation fund and council; If it is prepared to enter into the arrangements referred to in paragraph # (a) above, to participate in negotiations to revise the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the Global Environment Facility and the Conference of the Parties to cover the operation of this fund, with a view to its acceptance by the Conference of the Parties at its ninth session
