On 07.08.2015, the Hon'ble Chief Minister presented a Memorandum to the Hon'ble Prime Minister, reiterating the request of Tamil Nadu to advise the Government of Karnataka not to proceed with the project without the concurrence of Tamil Nadu and proposed construction of the Dam or any other project in any manner in the Pambar sub-basin till the Cauvery Management Board is constituted and the consent of the Government of Tamil Nadu is obtained.

மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் மாண்புமிகு பாரதப் பிரதமர் அவர்களிடம் 07.08.2015 அன்று அளித்த கோரிக்கை மனுவில் (Memorandum), தமிழ்நாடு அரசு ஏற்கனவே கோரியுள்ளபடி கர்நாடக அரசு மேகதாதுவில் அணை கட்டும் திட்டத்தை தமிழகத்தின் முன் அனுமதி பெறாமலும் காவேரி மேலாண்மை வாரியம் அமைத்து செயலாக்கத்திற்கு வரும் வரையிலும் மேற்கொள்ளக் கூடாது என வலியுறுத்துமாறும், மேலும் இத்திட்டத்திற்கு மத்திய அரசின் தொழில்நுட்ப பொருளாதார அனுமதியும், சுற்றுச்சூழல் அனுமதியும் வழங்கக் கூடாது எனவும் மீண்டும் வலியுறுத்தி உள்ளார்கள்.
