والأمر الذي يثير القلق البالغ هو زيادة جرائم الكراهية الجبانة التي يقوم فيها المستوطنون الإسرائيليون - تحت حماية قوات الاحتلال - بحرق مساكن الفلسطينيين وكنائسهم ومدارسهم، تاركين وراءهم عبارات وشعارات عنصرية.
